Hi Rafael

Thank you for taking the time to read and comment.

I know what you mean about the last stanzas. The poem is more about a metaphorical journey of self discovery, although I did visit the places mentioned but I wasnt sure if the day-dreaming element would come across or just sound nuts :)

Although it is over 2 years since I was in Northern India, living with the people and working there helped me to experience so much that I hope the inspiration may keep me going for a while longer. I hope to return one day soon to see my Tibetan sponsor daughter, who lives in the village in the mango grove where I stayed.

You will certainly benefit from your trip to Africa, which sounds very exciting and I am glad you are able to spend a month there rather than a flying visit. I look forward to seeing what influence comes through in your writing and no doubt your art will also benefit from the experience. I don't know if you ever read my travel logs I posted from various internet cafes or 'bribed' barbers around India but they also serve as a useful diary that you can dip into at a later date. I have been asked to write them up as a book, interspersed with photographs and poetry, and hopefully this will help raise funds for the Tibetan refugee children. I just need the time to be able to do so :(

Kind regards

Raphaela
