Rain seems popular just now :) I love the rain and somebody walking in it can conjur so many images depending on the mood but it often indicates deep reflection.

I particularly liked the first two lines of the third stanza

'Her face cuts through
An overslept morning'

and the similes in the rest of it reads like an AGS special!

'Like a golden calf,
And she laughs like
Sunday school.'
