Banshee Screams

The winds wail in a poet�s words
The banshee screams
Shivering them in thoughts
In the grave yard of poetic verse
Needing to break free of the shackles
That binds them in an imprisoned tomb

Words riding on the spirit of the unicorn
Free spirited ghost of father time
As the universe storms in continuous change
Riding the waves that drown ambition
Ready to call it quits from humanities deaf ears
But the hysterical pride of the wild winds
Keep shouting in echoes reverberating within
In quakes tearing down boundaries

From where do dreams come from?
From the mystical past
Vivid imagination of creativity
Of present day thinking
About having a future
They are from the compass of time
Leading in every direction of the horizon

In light years from now
A poet�s words will have died down
But the process that created them
Will lie in frustrations of bouquets
That blossom in others
Carrying on the trade
For the banshee will still wail
Sending shivers quaking
To opening minds

The Ghost Within Yourself

You fear the ghost within yourself
Stealing the special breathe away
Playing hide and seek
Awaiting its right time

In chills of blood curdling
Cracking dry from chalky bone dust
Haunting the subconscious
Taking the moisture of existing
And freeze drying it

In suspended animation
Our creativity leaves us
Soul searching
Cob webs having had shrouded the reflection
Within the mirrors of possessed memories

In the apparitions taking fear to nth level
Shaking the foundation of why we were born
We come face to face with our greatest tragedy
The ultimate horrors of self reflection

In a retreat of our determination to succeed
We bulldoze threw the storm of negativity
In static charges throwing us in turmoil
In the sheer willpower of the improvable

Wounded pride beyond belief
Gels within our mind to compete
In the will power of the impossible
Now shedding its light
Shining from deep within the brilliance of you

In a whirlwind that defies logic
You superimpose the supernatural strength
Within the moisture flooding your purpose
From you inner fountain of faith

In the bright red blood infusion
The color returns to your face
In the rainbow reflections of your crystal
Sparking in the universe of your mind

Your ghost has parted in its shame
For having failed to invade your mind
By putting it in a graveyard
Of your greatest fears

Thought: In all my failures, I keep going on in the negativity of other�s opinions, finding salvation still clinging to the impossible dream. For no matter what, you will never ever be perfect or in fact ever want to be.
