The night hangs
in its disgrace
lonesome

the wind has left
sought its refuge
beyond
the barrier
of the hills

another
more desirable place
where no one can see
them although
they stark and
naked
empty

Of pretty smells
that have wondered
off
with the bees
and their
promises
of pure honey

Storage
in lovely
small wax
cups with promises
that they will stay
be fresh
now as well
as forever

Cozy
a place
where the bees walk
talk, guard
always
with ready stingers

as the moon

Puffy
white
that lies
across the skies

So full in its pocks
embedded marks
that say
it has
had many a confron
tation just being there
in the blackness
with the wind
the skies
the sounds
that always have
a chance to flee

it has
had
none
