Pull back the sheets slowly rise from my bed
Draw back the shades bring the sunlight in
Look in the mirror at my worn out self, my
Reflection looking back, tired as well, and it
Can't seem to escape, she looks back at me, I
Reach out to grab her, try to pull her free but,

These deep clouded dreams
In my head
Give me a longing instead, of
My lost world, my fantasy
That I'll never reach, cause
With every hour it slowly fades
Behind the velvet shades
Only to return when my eyes close
I'm so exposed,

But I'm the only one who knows....

I pour the coffee in the cup with care
The steam rising, filling the dry air, and
I pour some milk, as much as it can hold
Bursting into a flower, the color of hope
Watching as it blossoms before my eyes
A miracle witnessed brings me to cry, cause,
