The smell of you
in the parlor
brings
these eyes to you,

prolonged;

as you notice
lift
your head to
stare back

We see
the valleys
moving under
the humid heat

in shadow
of midday
still
like the raptures
of gentle snaps
of the flowered lilies

they rustle

The winds notice too
in faint fogs
of eyes
and get
unnoticed

begin a lifting
to reveal charmed wetnesses
of the damp swamps
marshes that inhabit near

they are overgrown
in the green
of vegetations too

that please me
wince in all their motions
and say:

there is always room
and plenty of
clean deep topsoil

to hoe

to plant
be burried
with me
