Slowly casting further afield
Beneath a well-arranged fold
Or bent knee

Watching pensively
The response each stroke brings
Adding dark or light
Or a shade between

Muted colours
Merge triumphant in wonderment
Reflecting nature’s creation
And inspiration

Soft scented skin
Reclines luxuriously
Lazily pondering
The studied gaze

A discreet glance
Timed to perfection
Stretching feline-like
Slowly arching

Re-arranges more
Than the natural pose
Indicating acquiescence
And the desired effect.
