I wasn't so much suggesting a rewrite as you have written them beautifully. I understand the fragile feeling, I have written from the heart too and could not change the sentiments I expressed at that time. I also find it helps to write out these feelings and also, indirectly, helps others who have suffered similarly. I am currently contributing to a book on bereavement with various poems.

However, I felt your style of writing would lend itself to being written in prose as an autoiographical or even semi autobiographical story - I have just finished reading one by an American writer Stephen Alter about his experiences of growing up in the Indian Himalayas (the exact place I worked last summer).

It is a pleasure to see you posting here at Unicorn. As you know, I have enjoyed reading your poetry for years. Hope you and your family are well.
