Gee SuSanne, I haven't heard (seen) that use of the word "make" for a long time. Kind of dates you, no? :)

I like the poem and its message. I would change "momentarily" to "mometary" in the first line of the fourth stanza, though. The eating and sharing of the cake is a great finish. Nice work!
