He rubbed the mare's nose, glad she stopped right away. "I knew you'd be good," he said to her softly. "You just didn't know what you did was wrong. But around here, we don't tolerate anything that might hurt other horses or people." He moved back to the stallion. "Sorry for hitting you," he said. "But you had to know not to do it," he continued, rubbing him on his neck. "You know what?" he said to the two horses. "I think you two should see your new home, what do you think?"
