He peered into them, making sure they weren't in the corners or something. Seeing that the two definitely weren't there, his heart began to beat faster and he opened the door to Prancer's stall. He ran through the door to the paddock on the other side, and looked around for the horse. Not seeing her, he ran over to Cocies' stall to look for him. He ran into his paddock, and out again, not being able to find the horse. "Shoot," he said as he got back to the aisle of the barn, "where on earth could they be?" He ran into the tack room to see if anything else was gone, and saw the missing tack. "There must have been a horse thief here, or something," he said to himself, and ran out of the barn to look for any hints as to where they were.
