Subject: New Year's Rant

Well, It's 2003 now. No flying cars, cure for AIDS or world peace (which the Bush administration is hard at work resisting), but at least we can say it's the year 2003. I got "too drunk to fuck" last night, and wound up listening to Social Distortion while stumbling around my front yard shooting off illegal fireworks in the direction of cars with my Dad. Good times. We didn't watch the ball drop, because for some reason that just sounds dirty. So we watched George Carlin. In the more sober part of the evening, I visted Shanel (see cult members) Curtis who is back from Helena for a while. I soon found myself in a scuffle in the parking lot of Fireside Pizza. Good times. Not quite as fun as the millenium party three years ago, where a friend of mine named Ben rolled around on the kitchen floor and decided to walk 9 miles home with no shirt on. Drunk people do smart things like that. I guess Derek probably spent an action-packed alcohol free evening at first-night Missoula...sorry Derek, but this is what you get for last year. You saw the Volumen and got laid....while I stayed home sober. This New Year's was my turn for a good time motherfucker! I'd be interested to hear what everyone else did for el ano nuevo, because these stories are usually great blackmail collateral.
