She looks up, her drenched, salty blonde hair clinging to neck, cheek, and back. She musters a kind of half-smile, but it lasts only the briefest of seconds. She is not used to such a gesture, and so the pleasant look fades quickly. Her voice is polite, but only just. "Hello. I'm Afailla, who're you? Oh, and this is Elfowne." She smiles down to the young gold, this time the smile lingers, but as she again looks up, it fades once more. She keeps her hand protectively over her back, an extremely affectionate gesture for the girl.
