Tegan swam around the eggs, her serpent keeping an eye on her. "To late she muttered". all the eggs were stone cold.
There was another ear spliting wail as the mother cried for her young. There would be no more. The black was the coldest of all. it was a true shame for blacks were indead one of the rairest colours. "im Sorry Scorpione!" She muttered as the mother nuzzled the eggs, as if there was still hope left. Tegans glaze then turned to Orlando. Why had he not bonded? he showed great respect, he was here first... She tuned back to the serpent, who was still protecting her eggs.
they might still be alive... the white protested to her bondheart.
"scorpi' dont worry, your children will soon have there own children, and there will be more than a handfull of people to continue your race!"
the seprent curled round the remaining eggs. one by on they birst in to light, and dissapeaered...al but one. at first it looked like a blue... but it was the black... a shame... it would not hatch... The egg birst in to light like the others and was gone... but there... where it had been... a small sneake like siluate in the water... could it be... the black??
Orlando... it caled in a tiny voice help... please... i am Aladore...
it was clear to see that the hatchling needed help! maybie it should go to MI? would they alow it?((I will ask)) eather way there was little hope... but there is always some!
