Tegan anounced with a smile as she returned the next day"today we will be lerning probably the most important lesson, riding the serpents!" She dove gracefully in to the water and swam up neer scorpione, putting one hand on the spine neer her head. " evry one in!" she called " right, hold the fin of your serpent for now, that is the easyest method. it is easy to ride once you have the hang of it but very hard to stay on at first. ask your serpent to start of slowly, and try to resist the water. this is hard in storms but normaly quite easy!" she demonstrated by swiming rond the small group, her boddy just above water levle." remmber to duck under the waves not take them in the face. its just like riding a dolphin!" she said then proforming an amazing jump out of the water and diving back in, still holding Scorpi's fin then coming up and sitting on Scorpione's back. "try!" this was easy she knew and had no dought that they would be able to do it straight away. " once you have the hang of that, experiment different ways, see what is best for you. for example, scorpi' has a gap betyween her pines just the ring size for me to sit on if we are above serface" with that she climbed on to scorpis back and watched the trainees become riders.
