You can't see a thing....

|Julie made her way down the blackened, soundless hallway. She stopped in front of Shayne and Hailey's apartment. She opened the front door a fraction and quietly slipped inside, checking her wrist watch as she slid something into her pocket. It was now 3:00 AM. Everyone should be asleep already. Satisfied that her job for the day had been done, she closed the door quickly behind her. Julie jumped a little as she saw a darkened figure on the floor beside her on the floor, though calmed once she figured out it was just Diego. She smiled at the dobermann and bent down to stroke his black head. Julie went over to the window and sat in darkness by the windowsill, cigerette in mouth, staring in wonder out the window at the rain outside. The mysterious everpresent khaki bag was dumped beside her. Diego quietly lay asleep by the front door where he was, curled up in a little black ball, snoring softly.|
