Lessa halts, a hand on the door to shut it. She bends down to gaze at him, studying his face carefully. Could he see her again? Was she willing to let him back into her life? She couldn't honestly answer that question right now. She felt too damn conflicted. Her face twisted in her obvious indecision. Finally, she lets her breath out to answer him. I dunno Jason. Sasha whined as she stood at her mistress's feet, eyes glued to Lessa's face. Lessa glanced down at the dog, then back to Jason before giving a slight nod. Yeah... She leaned in, opened the glovebox, and extracted an old piece of paper and pen. Quickly she scribbled down her number and handed it to Jason.
