 Tabitha shifted her weight, moving a few inches out of his way as he reached for the lunchmeat. Her careful scrutiney fell by the wayside at his blunt answer. A blush crept up her neck to her cheaks, her gaze dropping to the floor. Her thoughts took a new turn.. to lastnight, before the change. Hadn't she sat on the counter just a few feet away and bandaged him up... and hadn't his position between her knees led to other, more intimate things? That's not how it was last night. She mutters, gaze still on the floor. Siddling away from him, she goes to the freezer, moves a few cartons and bags around, and reaches to the back of the coldbox for a stack of cheap meat. It's not high quality... but it'll suffice.. She glanced around the kitchen, taking note of all the meat strewn about the counters and table. A quizical frown marred her features for a moment. Is this how it's always going to be from now on? She turned her gaze to him, studying him curiously.
