 How did one manage to know so deeply how to love another whole-heartedly? Never had he noticed her devotion to sway though it ought to have toppled a thousand times over. Just pity the poor patient darling for having such a wreck of a soul fall into her company and her arms. A deep reserve of strength she would no doubt need to survive the coming years with no further holes driven into her heart.

Were she wise, she would rip her devil's throat out while she had the chance, as he purred bliss against her attentions to his throat, giving her all trusting access as he shifted against her again. And perfect she was, no new beds would he need now that he had had the courage to voice the words that terrified him most. Picking up a steady pace against her, he gave a soft growl of laughing reprimand at the gentle nip, nuzzling her cheek with an unspoken promise to bite in return should she persist.
