 Marius glances up, along with the children, and he narrows his eyes darkly, making no move to get up and make for the door. "I can just as easily run you out of your home, Deangelo. Don't push your luck with me," he growls, turning back to a gently stirring Alexander. Leaning down, he places a tender kiss the male's forehead and neck. "I'm sorry, my beauty. I'm so sorry," he whispers, cuddling the whimpering male into his arms and rising from the couch, carrying him to, of all places, the kitchen.
