 He was worried...about Jocelyn. She was a beautiful woman and quite the charmer before (everything)but he was the one who had been with her the last year when she'd become a shell of herself...worse than the one even after her father's death (then she'd been tough, determined, vengeful, running for her life), last year she had surprised him he'd never known her weak before. Now this Murphy had shown up, he was obviously interested in something but what? Thank god Jocelyn seemed to be keeping her distance so far. For his own sake Crispin hoped the last guy Jocelyn had been with was dead and had not just deserted. But for now he needed to focus the sooner he got Murphy out of the apartment the sooner the three of them could get down to business.
