Kharnivor ..::»» The vix's sides heaved noisly, her tongue lolling out of her mouth, lungs taking in huge gulps of air. And finally, one new little form was bought into the world, followed immediatley by another one. The female relaxed, then tensed again, and one more came out. She clawed at the floor of the den, dragging herself along on her side. How it hurt! She just wanted to end this pain, but she didnt know how. And finally, the last little pup made its first appearance in the world. (I dont want to get too discriptive and gross here O.o) The new mother sat, gasping for breath, giving her tiered limbs rest, then rolled over as if nothing had happened, inspecting the new arrivals curiously. They didnt have much fur, but their colour was allready showing through. There were two solid black ones, and one that seemed to look like her father; who was black with white splotches over her fur, and a tiny little white one. Somewhere along one of his parents's family tree there was a white wolf, and he had inherited that pigment. Most of the pups came wriggling forwards, intruiged by their mother's scent, except for one of the black 'twins.' It lay there, curled up in a little ball. The sable she-wolf nudged it gently with her nose, but it didnt move. Tears welled up in her eyes, and she picked the little one up, bringing it over to its siblings, then nuzzling its little form with her maw. "You're asleep. Thats all. Asleep." She said, trying to convince herself that the poor little black pup truly was asleep. "And you'll wake up, and Striker will come, and.." She noticed the doe lying on the other side of the cave, and smiled weakly, looking down to her pups, and started to groom them. The little black one hadn't moved at all, no air was being sucked into its lungs, its sides didnt move, its nose didnt twitch. But he was only asleep, she told herself. Only asleep. He sticks his head in to check on her a few times trying not to be nervous when she was in pain and having troubles but knowing he could do little to help. When shes finally done he enters the den looking over each pup happily til he gets to the not moving black one he nudges it licking it trying to get the little pup to breath. He keeps nudging it softly with his nose.

Yeah, its dead. ><; Not -all- wolves have perfect, healthy litters, I'm trying to make it realistic. :P That can be one of the ones I was gonna play that died, if you want to play two wolves, or whatever. ^^; Which ones do you want to play? The white and black ones are male, the black one with alot of white on her (mini striker! xD) is female. ^^)
