He watches her, then nickers, rearing. He snorts and arches his neck, bucking playfully. He tags her with his hoof and trots around her, flicking his tail.

The mare laughed, watching him trot around. Suddenly she sprang forward, running to a stream. She jumped over it, a small jump, then took a drink, prancing on the other side of the stream It was deep, but not very wide. She watched him, giving him a challenging nicker. She was careful though, she was ready to jump in if he was a bad jumper, or a bad swimmer.
