The mare hesitantly returns his muzzle, grateful for the reassurance. "Thank you. I'm very tired." The mare sinks to the grass, nibling at it awhile as she watched him standing near, thinking about being a lead mare. She wondered what the foal would look like.

The mares eyes narrowed. "I am strong enough to bear a healthy foal, my legs are just tired. Soon i'll get used to weight, but you are larger than me, so the weight upon me was more than my own, I'm not used to that, and you were rough. You said I could rest." She looked up at him, hurt by his words. She calmed down, answering his question. "I'm fine for now, there's plenty of food."

The mare was hurt and angry, but she could sense he was struggling with himslef, so she just nodded. "Alright, I'm sorry, I just don't like it when others snap at me, especially when they think I'm weak. I'm a bit small, but I'm not weak." She got up, ignoring her tired legs, proving she could be strong. She nibbled at the grass placidly, she had been careful to keep her voice calm, and she was proud of that.
