Chestnut head turned toward him, regarding him searchingly. Finally she nodded. It's not my choice so much as his. If he likes you and wants you to be, go ahead, it'd be nice to share the responsibility. But, it all depends on him. She wasn't going to make the choice for the colt, he had come up to her, and could choose if he wanted this stallion as a sort of father.

She had said she thought of him as a friend, to call him back now would be to promise more. Of course, and makes sure to call me if you find him, or if anything else interesting comes up. Firey mare sighed. It had been nice to talk to someone. Finally she started walking. There was a little grove she had found. Very hard for a horse to get into, but mares were built sleeker and she found it a perfect safe place. She looked carefully for her colt as she walked. She was still sad Commotion had left, but she tried focussing her attention on searching as she walked.
