He could smell his father was near. He lifts his nose to the sky howling loudly telling his father he knew he was close. Remember squeals again. He couldn't even emit the proper howl yet, it still had to many puppy tones. He waited. If Teelar came to him, it was time for another talk. They might have to leave before they were fully weaned. They had to get back to the pack before spring, and spring approached fast. Recall tilted his head. "Leaving? Going with him? Why would I go anywhere mother? I have to stay with you." His father had told him to stay when he was barely born, but Recall didn't mention this. He liked this land. Fare whimpered in disapointement. She had just wanted to play. She shifted her eyes around, suddenly backing into the shadows. She could just find someone else to play with. She started walking away, being careful not to make much noise.

Another pup howl was givin then he takes off at the run nose sniffing til he was right infront if his father. He stands tall looking at him. Hello father? He says almost in a bitter tone but it wasnt. Remember lays down rolling in the snow the group leaving her behind but she didnt care.

Get Fate, she's a bit behind us. Then we will say goodbye to your mother and siblings. If you need to make any other goodbyes, say to that female pups I saw you with before, make them quickly. I will wait at the edge of the land after we say goodbye to the family." He waited, stopping where he was. THey could catch up to say goodbye. The male pup strode arounbd proudly, then stopped, looking up in puzzlement. "What's a mate? What do they do i mean? I hear about mates, like you and father, but everyone seems to be different from us, and each other." Fate had stopped, and was rolling around in the snow. She sighed. No one but them was around. She got up, starting to walk back to her family.

Then runs up to his mother pushing Recall away from her so he could have her to himself. Hed let Fate see her also. Tarren looks at Recall. Dont worry son. Youll learn all that someday. She looks to Teelar. Teelar I told you about doing that to your brother. The pup runs away from his mother howling that puppy howl hoping to find his only friend to tell her goodbye.

"It's time for me to go now. Fate and Teelar are coming with me. perhaps one day, if all goes well, we will all meet again." He looks down at Fate. "Come along now, we'll give your brother some time to find his friend." Fate looked at her mother, giving her a last nuzzle. Then she nuzzled her sister, licking Recall. "I'll be fine everyone. And I'll definetly come back, just to see how well my siblings grow up." She looked at them, at her mother, and turned away. Tears had already begun to form in her eyes, but she didn't want them to see. She had to be strong.

She doesnt even look to Memory. A long nuzzle and a cleaning given to Fate. She watchs Teelar nowing even if she went after the pup hed give her no goodbye back. Teelar stands there waiting for his friend hoping she is near. He didnt wanna leave without a goodbye but he would. He howls again.

She raises her voice to the sky, her howl squeaking slightly, but coming out, even if it was puppish. She looks around anxiously, going towards the sound of the howl.

Goodbye Recall, Remember." He nuzzles them all, sighing. Then he turns, exiting the land with Fate following. Fate gives one last puippy howl to her family. "Goodbye!" She tuns after her father. Recall watches them go, then looks coldly at Teelar. "So, you abondon your family? Pitiful. If you ever do come back, we'll both be bigger. We'll see who wins then. And I'll be waiting." Recall watched coldly, his brother no longer thought of as his brother, but as someone who abondoned his family.

Then she rests her head on Memory for just a second no words spoken before lifting her head and walking away. Remember whimpers loudly pup tears fall down her face. Teelar growls loudly at Recall. Yes we will be better and next time we meet it will be the death of you brother. He turns and walks to there father proudly trotting along.

He looked at his mother seriously. "We'll have to grow up fast. Teelar's like father, but he might even be colder. And he won't be the one to die if he comes back. His mother just didn't understand. He hoped that Teelar didn't come back. It would tear her apart if they fought. He walked back to the cave, curling up in what had previously been his father's spot, eye watching. He looked at the food. His father's last catch here. He put his head down. he wasn't hungry.
