The she-wolf was in her den, sides moving up and down slowly. She was calm, but she could feel the pups coming soon. She mad no noise, just layed their, her eyes closed and concentrating on what was happening. She lifted her head a small bit, eyes opening to look outside. Was anyone else around now? She shrugged, head falling back to the earth.

Achromatic inamorata wandered around outside the cave, neb to the ground, following the scent of a rabbit. Audits swiveled, hearing the other female's head hit the earth, and head turned to her direction. Bristled caudal wagged, curiousity overcame fear. ".. Hello?" She forgot about the rabbit, taking a few steps towards the cave's entrance instead.

She struggled to turn, then gave it up, staying still for a minute to catch her breat. She spoke to the entrance, not seeing who was there yet. "Hello? Who's there? Who are you?" She watched the entrance, wondering who it could be.

The she-wolf watched her carefully. More newcomers? So many wolves coming in. And she couldn't come and meet any of them because she had to stay in the den. She grunted. She had smelled her brother near new smells, maybe he was finally getting out and meeting others. Yes, he had mentioned some new wolves. She shrugged. "I'm Ration. I haven't been able to meet many of the new wolves, but you might know my brother."

"Relic of course. Black coat and he's my brother. Followed me here, or actually, Memory did, and then told Relic where I was, but it's the same thing. I'm alright, my pups are coming soon is all." She winced, going back to her side.

Suddenly the pups started to come out, Two coming out quickly, then she stopped, breathing hard. "Still more to come. A pack? What a coincidence. I came from a pack too! Actually, i came from two, but that's besides the point." She grinned, eyes closing again.

She squealed in suprise, quickly taking a few steps backwards to give Ration room, accidentally running backwards into Rock. "Ack! Are you allright?" She was starting to look very worried now. ... The she-wolf was still sitting there. Three more pups came out in a little while, a total of five. She struggled around, licking them all, cleaning their fur, and letting them breath. She stopped for a second, nuzzling one. It was crying only faintly, and wasn't moving much. She looked down at it sadly. It was having a hard time breathing. "I'm fine now. But I don't think this one of my pups will be." She brought the other four to nurse, putting the other one near, but it couldn't even lift it's head as it's life faded.
