The she-wolf was outside the den again. This time she kept a more careful watch on the pups. The black female kept running ahead of her, and she kept having to pull her back. All the puppies were rambuncious, but she seemed to need to explore everything. "If you don't stop taking off, I'll name you without your father here, and it will be a name like Prancer. Yo don't want that, now do you?" She glowered playfully at the puppy.
