Go Fat man survival kit!!! A great point there, if we had gone to war with Hitler when he broke the Treaty of Versailles, how were we to defend ourselves against attack by air from Germany? May I remind you that at this time Britain did not have an effective radar system in place, also we had very few aircraft! How were we to win the battle of Britain with no aircraft!!! Evacuation had also not been largly implemented and heavy bombing from the Luftwaffa could have cost the lives of hundreds of children and not to forget adults. Also without air defences Britain was left open to invasion from German paratroopers. Appeasement gave Britain time to re-arm and get an effective defense network against German aircraft. So let me get this straight Outlander02. Your mesage is that we should should have gone to war with Hitler when we had very few air defences and let Britain burn under heavy bombing from the Luftwaffa and possible invasion from German paratroopers!!! THINK OF THE HUMANITY MAN!!!
