I agree with Chamberlain on his decision of appeasing Hitler for as long as he did. I think Chamberlain was a good honest man and believed he could make a difference between their being another war and keeping his country in peace. He hated war, he thought it was a fearful thing and he wanted to be sure that if he was to embark upon it, it would be for good reasons.
