You are right, yuna.
Hitler and Mussolini were hand in glove from the very start (both Fascists, you see) and on 1 November 1936 they formed an official alliance called 'the Axis'. Then, on 24 November 1936, Japan joined Italy and Germany in an alliance called the 'Anti-Comintern Pact'.
They were in league to destroy the League!!!
And I like your idea that in some way the League caused the Second World War!
