If you want an overview, just read the 'mini-book' text at a run, without following eny of the links. It's just about as basic as you can get.
If that is too difficult, please note the 'Links' at the top right of every page - they always start with the easiest sites at the top, so you might go there and see if there is a site easier than mine.
