First, did you know that the word 'boycott' comes from the history of the Irish Famine? Mr Boycott was an absentee English landlord, who was so bad that his tenants refused to have anything to do with him - hence the word 'to boycott'.

Secondly, the policy of www.johndclare.net on games is that games are good every now and again as a 'pressure release', but that they are not very good as a learning vehicle, and that they convey next to no information into your brain. No pupil will ever pass GCSE by only playing games - the time comes when you have to sit down and understand and LEARN the info.
This site is a GCSE information site, and I decided that other sites do games MUCH better than I ever could.
PLEASE don't boycott this site! Use it for what it is intended - to give you GCSE information/ exemplar essays/ revision sheets/ links/ a revision forum/ exam advice etc.

And if you insist on a game to liven things up, Andrew Field's WONDERFUL site has a games page at http://www.schoolhistory.co.uk/interactivegames.html
