I think Chamberlain was a hero for giving us time to prepare for War but he kept giving into Hitler over and over again and this just increased hitlers confidence. he knew that he could keep pushing us until eventaully Chamberlain declared war and earned us back some dignity. during the appeasement hitler made us look the fool but in the long run we grew stronger and defeated him. it was time he learnt that he wasnt quite the big strong man he thought:p
