hi Ed! ako uli. correction lang. rikoy did not bagged the grand prize in the Concours des Jeunes de Createurs de Mode. second place siya. He won the Prix d' Incitation for being the best entry from the Philippines. In state of shock then hysteria kami noong binalita namin yon around 1:40am. Well, honestly, di namin talaga naintindihan kung anong ibig sabihin o meaning ng french term sa text ni Vic Barba kay rikoy, at di ko rin maintindihan ang minamumble ni rikoy in between his sobs when he called me up to relay the good news, so we presumed he won the grand prix. as it turned out, mali ang interpretation namin. nagmamagaling kasi kaming mag-interpret e. sorry ha? promise, mag-aaral na ko ng french. nonetheless, grand prix, or prix d' incitation, "rikoy, you made us proud."
