Subject: I dont mean to distact from teh BNP thread but DYLAN...

saw Dylan on Friday thanks to Rich Umbers and his family (for which i am very grateful).

Well he was great and i had a great time.
I took a bit of paper with me so i could try and remember stuff and lalalala and after playing Tangled up in blue and then Masters of War he played this amazing piece of music. It was beautiful.
I found out today it was called Summer Days and it is on Love and Theft- Dylans most recent LP offering.

Ty- i thought you said Love and Theft was lame- i haven't heard the album yet but Summer Days was stunning and Twiddle Dum and Twiddle Dee was really good as well. I can see it isn't the rebel music of old but still it was great.

I suppose it was partly his age and the venue to blame but i would have loved to have heard a bit more brooding malice in Maggie's farm and Masters of War. Anyway...

...ou were right- it was very special being in the same room (sort of) as Mr. D.

How was it for you, you went on the Sixth didn't you?
