no one forced you to read the footy talk.

dont worry my sexuality was NOT in question- anyone who suggests otherwise is mistaken. In no way have i felt threatened as a heterosexual by this ridiculous argument.

Rugby is a popular sport. It keeps people fit. It is a competitve skillful sport and is enjoyable. I cant still quite shocked that now poetry, war, post-modernism, sexuality. I am aware that a lot of Denmark Road 6th form skive off games but surely you know that some things are just sports and dont play much of a role in sexuality etc.

I think it would be a good idea that you should think about what level of analysis you apply to certain topics. IT is often quite welcome when it comes to art, where an artist has probably spent time encouraging their art to appriciated on many analytical levels. I dont think when William Webb Ellis picked up the football in a school game he was trying to get a way of releasing his gay sexual frustration. Neither do i think that is what it has become because i know why paople play rugby- it is a fun sport

it is interesting to me that i disagreed with Gramps criticism some time ago about using long words for the sake of it. I can see where his anger came from- it annoys me a lot too- though unsupprisingly i dont think i was guilty of it.
