:I would like to point out that all major religions have denied the existence of Lillith and therefore your arguement is null and void.

Unfortunately not. For what religion has failed to realise is that the opinion of other institutions denying the existence of Lilith is futile beyond the point of debate, because there is no differentiation to be made between upholding a religion's own figurehead, and negating that which does not apply for reasons of inconvenience. What I'm trying to say is that Judaism (or any other religion, for that matter) can't prove that Lilith didn't exist (although they'd try their hardest), any more than I can say God didn't exist.

In fact, in today's era, secularisation has reached such extreme measures, that traditional fundamentalist belief exists only in the Islamic community. I generalise, of course, but it's true. Church attendance is less than half what it used to be thirty years ago; the Catholic church has now permitted the ordination of women priests; sects and new religious movements have reared their ugly heads in an attempt to prevent demystification, and even Judaism has permitted women not only to attend synagogues, but to read at them. In this respect, I suppose you could reel the cliché that nothing is sacred. But the increase in the profane is due to a variety of factors which I won't go into now, unless anyone wants to divert the debate towards this direction.
