Strangely, I've never really rated silvio as one of his best songs. i guess thats cos its from down in the groove, which is dylans worst album by a mile (except maybe saved which is a lily-livered excuse for religious prog-rock. yucky.) you should give a listen to the album street legal, if you like silvio then you'll definately like that. its a good ten years younger than down in the groove, but you'll know what i mean. best songs are changing of the guards, no time to think, is your love in vain, senor...

i just bought new morning at that hmv sale, which means i've completed my dylan collection. yay. also got two smiths albums on the cheap. what a very fine band they were.
