This is what I think: I think that the BNP are a far right party. Their policies damage community harmony - i mean this especially in the sense that they are at least perceived to be fascists. I dont like to give my real personal opinions on here as people tend to tell me i am wrong or misinterpret me. But I'll say it anyway. The BNP are extreme right and cynical. I am convinced that their manifestos are designed to gain notoriety and make voters forget that they have a long history of violence and racism. I illustrate my point with the fact that the Nazis were called 'the national socialist' party - although I have no idea what they thought socialism was. I will never trust a party like the BNP no matter what. What the people of Burnley do Tim is a matter of choice, and contrarily it will probably do them a lot of good as they will be listened to now if the government has any sense. Feel free to slate me now as cynical and ignorent but that is my opinion.
