look here.
No one is making you 'feel sorry'. Sympathy may be encouraged but no one is making you 'sorry', and with out interesting methods of physchiatry or whatever- see Mr. Richard Scott. no one can.

You may be suffering from compassion fatigue, a term that was popular for many years after the LIVE AID event, after which images of starving people etc. were common, so they had less effect; hence compassion fatigue.

No one is forcing you to have feelings about anything. Camus' 'outsider' seems to do alright. 'I dont feel it should be done' !-its not. You sound a bit dim to me.

My heart goes out to all those who died on the 11th of September and there releatives, as for the refugees in Afganistan, and also Chris Cheney. I feel i know Chris and am one of his greatest admirers (at least a 'face' to me) though it is clear that this matter is significatnly more trivial and your link seems strange.

could i ask who you are?
