Cheers for comming along to the Bat and Ball. I think it went alright. First time we've set up a PA all on ourselves etc. and i was pleased. We didn't get much of a rehersal in, thanks to a rather rude lady. So we did a load of covers that we were (well me and Tyrone at least) comfortable with.
I remember Tyrone started playing 'Hush', which we haven't played for years. Rich Grant looked around at me and looked puzzled so i shouted to him that it was Hush. He thantold me that he had never heard it before! Still i thought it went very well.
Ty, Lucy and Rich Grant, thank you very much for posting the equipment around. I am very grateful.

Cheers to Will Knight for playing '1945' with us.

I got an interesting phone call from a promoter, and it looks like we have a gig on Wednesday, 30th of January. This will be an important gig for Alias, so please come along and support us. I'll tell you what, I might even let you bring your friends. It will be a really good do. We'll be better rehersed than normal, we'll get good sound checks and we'll have a really good sounds. We will also be able to go much harder than we have done at the recent party gigs.

We will be supporting 'Charis'. Who the promoter tells me are Cheltenham's Nirvana.

Thanks again for the support we've had over the holidays.
especially the lending of equipment: Anna Gregson, Rich Umbers and Will Knight. Also Claire's and Rich Scott's family et al were all very kind and hospitable.

As well as playing my other Xmas highlights included; Sarah, walking home (Charlton Kings) from Irish Club (11 miles) with Adam Langley, seeing SKANKt and reminding myself why i like Bailey's Irish Cream.

I had a good time. Cheers everyone.
