Highest Blessings to my fellow genealogists, historians, and seekers!
The Guyana Genealogical and Biographical Society is a diverse group of dedicated volunteer genealogists connected via World Wide Web who are doing their utmost to present genealogical, biographical, and historical information of Guyanese to those interested in these social science. At the moment, the Guyana Genealogical and Biographical Society is seeking your input, articles of your family history, and links to genealogical interests to Guyanese. By this common sharing we hope preserve the peoples history of this great country.

Thus, you are asked to do the following;

1. Log onto the Guyana Genealogical and Biographical Society http://www.rootsweb.com/~nyggbs/index.htm and visit the regularly updated web site.
2. Offer your suggestions
3. Send articles of your family's history, digitals of your schools, places of worship, communities, local heroes - the village leaders, schoolteachers, postmasters, farmers, include the sources of information. Newspaper clippings - your scrapbook.
4. To read blogs of genealogical interests http://guygenbiosociety.blogspot.com
5. Email: guyanagenealogy@yahoo.com
6. Please add a link to the Guyana Genealogical and Biographical Society at your site.
7. Please forward to Guyanese institutions in Guyana, and Scholars especially the historians including those who contribute articles to your publications.

This is also a membership drive - Guyana Genealogical and Biographical Society is always seeking to increase its membership - which with meaningful participation would improve the flow of data, and the archiving of information.
