What seems like a lifetime,
can happen in an instant...
a few words, a simple rhyme,
as the day changes within a minute.

Today is tomorrow,
as darkness fills the skies...
for now dwellith sorrow,
until morning light arrives.

Hour by hour,
soon it will come...
warming with such power,
the rising sun.

So as tonight I may sleep,
and wait for the morning song...
entrapped within the deep,
to be awakened by dawn.
