..well, I recovered from a rough work week on the 4th and went to a local friend's BBQ for a couple of hours and saw some decent fireworks from a block party nearby.

Then on Saturday, the best day of the weekend I spent the whole day surfing Lincoln Blvd. (Long Beach) because Lido West's lot was full - =( Still, good waves... chest high, clean lines all day long. (Of course the 60% to 40% ration of girls to guys surfing helped a lot).

At night I went to my boss' birthday party in Westhampton [you're welcome to come anytime Lau =) - you can ask Ant how cool the house is]

Sunday was recovery day.

PS. I'm so happy I learned you can surf with contacts. Seeing clearly now.
