To travel, to drive
the gaze in your eyes...
a warmfelt touch
on my hand as such...
to know you're by my side
in each step, each stride...
gliding across the lake
like in a dream I wish not to wake
and sitting by the fire
with whom I very much admire...
and at night to lie down
wishing you were around...
to lay at my side so still
and lean over to kiss you I will...
yet you are so far away
sadly, there you shall stay...
until I see you at first light
when you're standing in my sights...
so beautiful, so insightful
so gorgeous, so delightful...
to travel, to drive
the gaze in your eyes...
the rain falls steady
and in my heart I'm ready...
to love you as such
to love you very much...
lightning across the sky
as the heavens let out a cry...

...for I shall bring you home my love.
