 The train pushed on
through the night air...
travelling into the darkeness
with a beauty by my side...
Arms wrapped around mine,
head against my shoulder...
remembering the times.
To lie next to you
on a cloud in the sky...
and to wake with your scent
filling the air.
To stroll the busy streets
and capture each moment forever...
hand in hand
like two magnets...
bringing us closer.
And to lie upon the grass
you, only inches away
yet miles in my eyes...
until you are near
and I can look deep into
you eyes.
It is then, when my soul
is awakened with a kiss.
Yearning for more...
for to wait only makes it stronger.
And then to dine by candle light...
on a night in which love is in the air.
Strolling by the river...
city skyline in the distance...
right now...to steal a kiss
yet to linger shall only draw attention.
And so I shall save it...
for a later time.
And to sit with you now
charging through the night...
more than love is felt.
Resting so gently...
my sleeping beauty.
