Much has been written by the Pagan community on the period known as "The burning times", the time in history when witches were persecuted by the church. However, not much has been written by Christians. Here is a new article on this subject written from a Christian perspective:

The Burning Times: Who were the Perpetrators and their Victims? Is it Still Happening Today?

This article was a laugh and a half. This woman claims the Christians who persecuted witches were not really Christians, because true Christians who found Jesus would not commit murder? Hello! Have you read the OT, concerning things followers of Christ should do to paganists/persons with different beliefs? I suppose you could also consider Pope Urban II and Pope Gregory VII to be non-Christian, for being the founding compadres of the Crusades. But maybe killing Muslims a thousand years ago was OK. I really wish Christians would admit what has happened in the past, especially when scripture has dictated such.
