 Afinal parece que S. Brás de Alportel tem um passado árabe interessante. Ibn Ammar, político e poeta, nasceu em S. Brás de Alportel, segundo alguns autores reconhecidos. Acabei de lêr o arqueólogo Cláudio Torres, onde ele afirma que S. Brás foi um importante centro amuralhado no período árabe. Da muralha é que parece que nada sobra. É pena.
Alguém tem alguma informação a juntar? Penso que muita gente na nossa terra gostaria de saber mais sobre esta personagem interessante.
