Hi Jeff:
Having teeth pulled is easier than having them filled, in my opinion. I know, it sounds tough, but really not that bad. I had 4 teeth pulled before my braces, and may have to have one more on the top. Not sweating it though.
Now the cost, I sympatize with you on that, but the wedding pics, just get a digital photographer and have him airbrush them out with Photoshop. That's what I have been doing with my crooked teeth ever since I went digital. Yes, when I am dead and gone, people will think that I had straight teeth LONG before I had straight teeth.
Hang in there - the end will be worth it :>)
